And you'd be missing out on one of the most innovative and brutally beautiful books in the genre.

Told with a spoonful of superficial sugar (i.e. rampant near-nudity and hints of girl-on-girl action) to make the nitty-gritty more palatable, Stray Crayons is an occasionally heart-rending tale in spite of its brevity. Unlike so many rabid anti-drug campaigns, one does not get the sense that Yoko Molotov (author AND artist, impressively enough) is standing on a soap-box and screaming morality at the reader. Her portrayal of drug abuse is all the more powerful for its subtlety and honesty.

An excellent book; I really look forward to reading not only the sequel, but anything else Ms Molotov publishes in the future. She's proven to be a rare and insightful talent."

8/13/06 BIG BIG NEWS!!!

Stray Crayons is going to be published, and hopefully launched in the Spring of 2007! Unfortunately there will be no more updates, but you guys can still look forward to Strays in the completed graphic novel form from Demented Dragon, publishers of NecrOphealia, coming out this fall!!! Stay tuned for more news, and more exclusive art from the series!

Yeah, you heard it right. I am in the middle of getting a deal with a comic company, (I will elaborate later when it is final) for getting published. The first being NecrOphealia. This is pretty big for me, or to any web Manga-ka aspiring to make it to hard print. I will update as more develops, and hang tight you may even see Stray Crayons in book form as well!!! So sadly I will not have the time to be updating Strays for a while, because I'll be working day and night on this new thing. -_- I do plan however to still enter in TP's RSoM7 though... see you around guys!

Well here it is, the end of Stray Crayons part one! I hope you all enjoyed it, through very awkward at times and down right rough, I am still very proud of my first professional web comic and am looking forward to launching part two very soon! There is also a new Wednesday Update!

Man, Maud sure is an EMO kid! I really dislike this page... sorry. I was experimenting with different ways to fill in Maud's hair, and the Audri flash back didn't come out the way I liked in the last panel.... ah well... ^-^; BTW check out the new Wednesdays update!!!!

4/30/06 Update today, this page I am rather pleased with the way it came out. Thanks to the Ton Ton for the photo in the final panel, I edited in PSP9. Im a cheater. Maud's got blimps for boobies in this page! XD
