Wednesdays
Why is Wednesday the best day of the entire week? Is it because it's hump day, signifying the middle of a long drag of a week, like the peak of the roller coaster telling the pit of your stomach the fun yet terrifying part is yet to come? Is it the novelty that Wednesday, with it's silent "N" is practically forgotten week to week... neither loathed or adored? Well I tell you, it maybe just a day to most, but it is my favorite, fuck Friday and Saturday too. Every Wednesday is a new hodgepodge of zany antics that unfold, that all I can do is just sit, roll with it, than reflect upon in my bed that night as Thursday threatens to trudge into the early hours. Finally after about 3 years of many a fruitful Wednesdays, I began recording them as my very first web comic. Wednesday is not only a day, but a symbol for any adventure, mishap, goodtime, or story gone awry or legendary. There are a lot of changes that take place in my life in these strips. People that have come and gone throughout my life, people who have come closer, people who have hurt me terribly and broken my heart. People who mended it.. I kept them no matter how painful some of the memories are, for if you deny your past you most definitely deny yourself. THESE COMICS ARE ROUGH, and in a since parallel with the day itself for me. This is by the way my autobiographical strip, so in other words there is no continuity, unless you find any such thing in life or otherwise, and by all means will be updated IRREGULARLY. (a nod and a belligerent shout to my man Harvey Pekar ^_~) So by all means, if you can get anything out of these gems of my saccharine and crack cocaine filled loins, you are probably spending your Wednesdays with the wrong people, and you should look us up.
PS if you see George, ask him about the Nashville Hop.
